Pace Contracting completed the Walnut Recreation Center Park for Clark County, NV on May 2, 2013. Despite a delay of two months following the notice to proceed for building permits, Pace was not only able to complete the project without a delay to the contracted completion date of June 16, but delivered the project six weeks ahead of schedule. Pace is proud to see Clark County open this facility early for the community so they can enjoy it for summertime!
Pace Contracting provided General Contracting services on this project for Clark County which was federally funded through the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The project included the construction of a 5 acre park and recreation facility with concrete walking trails, landscape features, soccer and football fields with sports field lighting, children’s play equipment and adult exercise equipment, numerous shade structures, a pre-fabricated restroom facility, enclosure structures, and adjacent off-site work including tie-ins to the existing roadway and utility service connections. Pace self-performed all concrete work for the project with no punch list items from the Architect or Owner.
